A segment in email marketing is a group of subscribers on an email list grouped by a specific guideline.

Some examples are:

  • Loyalty customers
  • Visited in the last 30 days
  • Last visited site within 30 days
  • Bought
    in the last 30 days

Each segment can be used to send a personalized email (automated or scheduled) based on their behavior on your website.
